Check In: Stop at the park entrance, check in with LA County Parks staff, state your business/organization name, and receive your assigned vehicle parking permit.
⏰ Hard Deadline: All vendor vehicles must enter before 8:30 AM SHARP. Late arrivals must park off-site and use the Cronin pedestrian entrance to hand-carry supplies. Food trailers and trucks must plan accordingly, as late vehicle access onto park grounds will strictly not be permitted.
Food trailer vendors will use the special food trailer load-in entry, separate from the general booth unloading zone.
LA County Parks staff will direct you to the trailer entry point and escort you across the temporary curb crossing onto the grass area when ready.
Do not cross the curb or drive onto the grass until explicitly directed by Parks staff.
Proceed slowly to your assigned operating location as indicated on the Food Vendor Layout Map.
Turn off your engine before unloading and safely disconnecting your trailer.
Once your trailer is positioned and unhitched, promptly move your tow vehicle directly to its assigned reserved parking space.
After checking in at the park entrance, proceed directly to your assigned reserved parking space.
TURN OFF YOUR VEHICLE ENGINE BEFORE UNLOADING.
Hand-carry or wheel your equipment and supplies to your designated booth footprint shown on the Food Vendor Layout Map.
Your support vehicle may remain parked in its assigned space throughout the event with your permit displayed.
Please do not use the special trailer entry area or the general vendor loading zone.
After checking in, follow LA County Parks staff directions to your designated food truck location on the Food Vendor Layout Map.
Do not enter the grass or cross any curb unless specifically directed by Parks staff.
If your food truck is your primary operating vehicle, its operating location is separate from any secondary support vehicle parking space.
Assigned reserved parking spaces are for authorized support vehicles, if applicable.
Food vendors are welcome to begin selling as early as 9:00 AM, or as soon as you are fully set up and authorized to operate (whichever is later).
Event teams, information booth staff, and parade personnel load in around 8:30 AM, so you are encouraged to offer food and beverages to early participants before the festival officially opens to the public at 10:30 AM.
(All required health, fire, and park permits must be posted and in place before any food sales begin.)
ALL ENGINES OFF WHILE UNLOADING. This is mandatory for safety.
Drive at walking speeds and watch closely for pedestrians and volunteers.
Keep emergency access routes, pedestrian walkways, and traffic lanes clear at all times.
Do not stop, wait, or park in the general vendor loading zone.
Unauthorized vehicles or vehicles parked without proper permits will be instructed to leave and may be towed.
Follow all directions given by LA County Parks staff and authorized event personnel.
All food vendors must hold valid LA County Environmental Health, LA County Fire, and LA County Parks permits and approvals prior to operation.
Please have all required documentation physically available for inspection at your booth/vehicle and be fully operational prior to the public festival opening at 10:30 AM.
Buckboard Days is a 100% community-driven event organized entirely by volunteers. Please show patience, kindness, and courtesy to the team members assisting with check-in, parking, traffic, and site operations. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping everyone safe!
